"Jumper in chief" Michelle Obama led 464 local students on the South Lawn in an effort to break a Guinness World Record for the most people jumping in a 24-hour period — the old record was 20,425. First Lady Michelle Obama announced on Monday that she, alongside more than 400 other participants, succeeded in an attempt to break the Guinness world record for the most people doing jumping jacks in a 24-hour period.
